![]() Michael was the only good thing I had experienced. The man, Michael, behind the counter was courteous, kind, and prompt with assisting me. My boyfriend complained that he only got two pieces of fried chicken with his Lo mein but the rest was good, he finished his food. I'm not holding that one against Great Wall, my kid is a butthead. My son wouldn't eat his chicken strips really, but loved the fries. I looked at other reviews and didn't feel like dealing with the quote "Rude staff" The taste of the chicken was quite off so I didn't finish eating. ![]() Maybe the chef has facial hair? It looks thick and black. Found a hair but I'm not sure where it came from. I took a bite and felt like it might be undercooked? I cut my chicken in half and it was not undercooked but it was really soft, I was expecting at least a crush or something. Orange chicken combo with fried rice and crab ragoon. Lo mein- White rice with vegetables and chicken wings.ģ. I've not ordered here in a year, but last night I picked up a Togo order here's what I got.Ģ. I've purchased food here many times as I am a local. The meal wasn't horrible, but definitely not worth the price tag.Īt first glance everything looks fine. The prosciutto was cooked and hard? Why would anybody cook a ready-to-eat piece of dry aged meat? Whatever mushrooms (Shiitake?) were used in the stroganoff had a weird texture and taste to them, kinda sour? (spoiled?) Someone different from our server took the cash we paid and then never brought back our change? The water glasses that are set at the table didn't get filled until halfway through our visit The lemon wine sauce tasted like straight olive oil (had to ask for lemons, to make the sauce taste better) The chicken breast in the pasta was cooked dry, and quite chewy. Also, it seems like most of the items you see in pictures online aren't available currently at the restaurant (surprisingly small menu actually) I felt that the prices asked for the quality of food and service we received didn't seem fair, and I probably wouldn't return. If you offered military discount the bill would make more sense for the food we got, so owner: consider it harder! Lots of military folk around here!!Įnigma was definitely a letdown compared to other similarly priced offerings downtown, like Sabatino's right down the street. We asked her if they offered military discount and she said that management was “considering it”. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful, but these prices were very pretentious for what it really is. cadillac nachos w/ chicken: pretty good, the only thing that has a substantial amount of flavor horchata: pretty good, could use more flavor (less water mixed in) pretty small in size for the price carne asada tacos: meat was a little flavorless and tough, the limes that came with it were dry. salsa: subpar, good amount of spice, tortilla chips were a bit stale I understand there’s not much diversity in Rapid City, so it’s hard to come by food like this-but 16$ for two tacos? Never have I ever seen an authentic Mexican dish make such a jump (even including the rice and beans). Overall it wasn’t a terrible experience but definitely not the best that I’ve had at a Texas Roadhouse. Our waitress rarely checked on us and we had to go to the bar to request a refill on our soda. Some of the meals didn’t come out the way we had ordered them like some steaks weren’t cooked to our request. She forgot a couple things that we had requested, like a kids sprite and a spoon. Our waitress was fairly quiet and seemed like she had a personal matter going on and didn’t want to be at work. We requested to move and were told that it depended on table availability but were able to switch tables quickly. Needless to say it was extremely difficult getting situated with five adults and two babies, one of which we requested a high chair for and they gave us a booster seat because they couldn’t put a high chair at the end of the table. When we were initially sat, they crammed us into a booth next to a booth full of people with a table at the end. The wait was pretty long, but it was a Saturday night.
